Met Gala 2025: The Red Carpet Arrivals

Fashion’s biggest night is here, and stars are ascending the steps of the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.

The Met Gala, The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser, celebrates the Costume Institute’s spring fashion exhibition. 2025’s exhibit, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. To adhere to this evening’s theme, guests and celebrity stylists are tasked with interpreting the accompanying dress code: “Tailored for you.”

This year, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams are serving as co-chairs, alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour and honorary chair LeBron James. However, James announced he would be missing the Met Gala due to a knee injury.
