Game launched in West last October
Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that it has added the Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town mobile game to Crunchyroll Game Vault.
The game is available for iOS and Android for Crunchyroll Mega or Ultimate Fan members and offers support in English, German, Portuguese, and Spanish (Spain).
The company describes the story:
Join the Nohara family on an adventure in the countryside of Akita! When Hiroshi’s job assignment takes them to a quiet village, it seems like the perfect getaway until Shiro runs off covered in soot. Chasing after him, they stumble upon a lively and prosperous coal town. Shin chan starts a mysterious daily routine, traveling between two worlds: the Village in Akita and Coal Town.
The game launched in the West for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in October 2024.
The Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town (Crayon Shin-chan: Sumi no Machi no Shiro in Japanese) game first launched in Japan in February 2024 for Switch, and then in Asia that May. The game won the Visual Arts Excellence Award at the CEDEC Awards 2024.
