Visual on display at Tokyo’s Ikebukuro Hit Vision, Ikebukuro Parco Hit Vision
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Detective Conan films revealed a collaboration visual for Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback (Meitantei Conan: Sekigan no Flashback), the 28th film in the Detective Conan (Case Closed) franchise, and Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning on May 13. The visual features Detective Conan character Kogoro Mori and Mission Impossible protagonist Ethan Hunt. The captions read, “I want you to look at me. It’s my greatest achievement.” and “I want you to believe me. It’s my last request.” respectively.

The visual is on display at the Ikebukuro Hit Vision and Ikebukuro Parco Hit Vision digital billboard installments in Tokyo until May 25.
TOHO also released a collaboration trailer of the two films. Narrated by Detective Conan’s Kogoro Mori, the trailer highlights the action seen in both films.
The Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback film opened in Japan on April 18 and earned 3,438,626,700 yen (about US$24.15 million) in its first three days, a new opening-weekend record for the franchise.
Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the eighth film in the Mission: Impossible film franchise and the sequel to 2023’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The cast appeared at the worldwide premiere in Tokyo on May 6. The film will officially open in Japan and the United States on May 23, and theaters in Japan are already having advance screenings from May 17 to May 22.
