The film critics in the Hollywood Creative Alliance (formerly the Hollywood Critics Association) announced the nominees for the 2025 Astra TV Awards on May 15.
Nominees for the Best Anime Series are:
This year’s Best Lead Voice-Over Performance and Best Supporting Voice-Over Performance nominations also include voice actors from anime series.

Best Supporting Voice-Over Performance
The Love, Death & Robots animated anthology series is nominated for Best Animated Series along with Batman: Caped Crusader, Harley Quinn, Invincible, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and The Simpsons.
Dragon Ball Daima is also nominated in the “Favorite Cartoon” category of this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The Astra TV Awards included the “Best Anime Series” category last year, and the first season of Solo Leveling won in the category.
Other nominees in last year’s Best Anime Series category were Blue Eye Samurai, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Ninja Kamui, Pluto, and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
The 2025 Astra TV Awards will take place at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles on June 10.
