Reece Feldman — the viral creator who made a name for himself online with his Guy With a Movie Camera accounts on TikTok and Instagram (totaling nearly 3 million followers) — has long credited a love of film and television for leading him to become one of Hollywood’s most in-demand creators. It was only a matter of time that he lived up to his online name and picked up a camera to direct his first project.
Feldman wrote and directed a short film titled Wait, Your Car? starring Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Ruby Cruz (Bottoms), Minnie Mills (The Summer I Turned Pretty) and Noa Fisher (Uncut Gems). The project follows four friends whose relationship is tested when one claims that her car is literally trying to kill her. The short film was produced by Roger Mancusi’s Fair Oaks Entertainment, Timothy Mendonça and Danielle Kampf.

Big plans are in the works for Wait, Your Car?, which will have a world premiere in Cannes, France on May 17, a date that comes during the Cannes Film Festival. While not an official selection of the festival, Feldman’s short is getting a proper unveiling at a special event hosted by TikTok. The platform has supported Feldman’s rise through the online ranks.
Feldman cut his teeth in entertainment as a production assistant on Amazon’s award-winning hit The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, for which he captured behind-the-scenes content. He parlayed his talents into roles working for major studios and streamers at premieres, junkets and other promotional shoots as well as covering major events like the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards and the Met Gala. He’s interviewed Christopher Nolan, Denis Villeneuve, Rian Johnson, James Cameron, Hans Zimmer, Ben Stiller and many more.
