The multi-talent’s wish to have a child has finally come true.

Multi-talent Shōko Nakagawa announced on her website and social media that she is pregnant on Monday — which happens to be Children’s Day and her 40th birthday. “Shokotan” revealed the news with a handwritten letter to her fans, supporters, and colleagues:
To everyone who always supports me
To all the people who have taken care of me
I, Shōko Nakagawa, have been blessed with a new life.
At level 40, I believe this is a big turning point in my life.
I am currently consulting with my doctor while I continue working.
I have been careful about changes in my physical condition up until this day, and I am looking forward to passing on my legacy while hoping for a safe birth.Also, as a new challenge, I am opening a new agency, miracie Co., Ltd., and working as Shōko Nakagawa independently.
Watanabe Entertainment will continue to support me through a business partnership.For now, I will work harder than ever as I prepare to become a mother, with even more responsibility in my heart.

As of press time, Nakagawa received over 6,000 replies, over 41,000 reposts, and over 450,000 likes on social media, most of which are congratulations from her fans and colleagues. Notably, fellow Sailor Moon voice actor Kotono Mitsuishi. Mitsuishi wished Nakagawa happy birthday and said, “Please take care of yourself.”
