Manga launched in 2017, inspired TV anime in January 2024

This year’s 25th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine announced on Thursday that Forbidden Shibukawa’s Snack Basue manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on May 29.
The gag comedy manga centers on a bar in Sapporo’s North 24th neighborhood, five stations away from the Susukino business district. There, the bar’s proprietor, junior proprietor, odd regular customers, and its share of walk-ins recount their strange lives.
The manga launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2017. Shueisha published the manga’s 17th compiled book volume on May 19.
The manga inspired a television anime that premiered in January 2024. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
